an easy, girly french....

The base is 2 coats of a franken I made with a white creme and Billie Purple Rain (which is on the tips of my nails). I did this on free-hand too with no tip guides, BUT I HAD to trace along the line with a silver glitter stripe polish because the line was very messy = no big deal though the glitter striping polish hid that.

Normally I used the regular french tip guides for this look, placing them on my nail like this and applying polish like a regular french mani however this was a last minute idea and I did it without the tip guides......

2 coats of each polish - top coat, striping polish

with my franken faith, made with Billie Purple Rain and a white creme

silver glitter striping polish - I love these wish I had more colours of glitter♥

fun french tips w/ Art Deco stripe polish

a quickie mani, 2 coats of Rimmel Camouflage with black Art Deco Stripe Rite polish across the tips. I added a coat of TC and stuck a lite green fake rhinestone in the center.. This is supposed to be a curved chevron, I am trying to work on my free-hand funky french tips but I suck. I can barely do a straight line, but for some reason I can do a perfect chevron with the polish brush.

I think I should have used a polish guide for this one.... oh well.....Also, My Art Deco in stripe polish in Black is a very dense black that dries fast.

Rimmel Camouflage on its own - 2 coats

♥ S.H. - Teal Takeoff & Billie - 'Hot toTrot' ♥

I am NOT buying anymore of these S.H Insta dri's I have used it 4 times... to really test it out and I will definitely not be acquiring anymore. I like almost every color they have released but the bottle, formula, and brush drive me nuts.

below is a fix up i did with some Nailene French tip guides and a sheer Billie polish 'hot to trot'

♥ Nail Stickers & Nailene Nails Review ♥

I have bought and worn these nails before - they are a little on the short side but came in handy for all my around the house things I have been doing lately. Seriously I lasted FIVE whole days before I needed to paint my nails.... I cant survive long with out colour on my nails!!!!!!

I received this sample of Nailene nails along with a newer-to-me glue. The pink-tinted brush on glue was a little thinner then I am used to and dried super-duper fast. A little too fast for me, and I think it will take alot of practice to get used to it. I do love my regular glue and have no plans to change anytime soon, but I know this brush on glue will come in handy for when my false nails begin to 'lift' from my natural nails. The brush is on the stiff side and will easily wedge between the false nail & my natural nails.

As always these nailene nails kept their shine even with multiple TOE nail polish changes, even surviving a small acetone spill.

I am having some computer issues lately & just installed windows 7-  so my photo editing programe is all wonky. Also spammers, PLEASE STOP -I'm pretty sure that most people who read my blog don't want 'boner medicine' or to learn how to 'beat vegas casino's, okay! Thanx!

I hope the subtle shimmer comes across in this photo- also the HUGE thumb nail, compared to the smallest nail with this set of Nailene nails

This set of Nailene Bedazzle nail stickers, seem like the most boring of the bunch, but the butterfly's & stars are really pretty, and the summery Hawaiian like flowers are actually really nice. The crystal's & pearls are pretty substantial and I am planning on adding liberal top coat to seal those suckers in when i use them.

These stars and butterfly's are very very pretty.  I'm glad there are several, becuase I will definitely use these - alot. Or I might hoard them...... The stars are really, really cool!
These crystals & pearls are pretty substantial, I will be sure to coat them in T.C. ♥
I think the white flowers will be pretty to dress up a basic french manicure. I like how it has a bit of a curve to it.
These were the ones I used ( the double pink flower) I think they are fun and summery AND LOOOOVE THE BLACK & ORANGE FLOWER!

This glue dries fast!!!! It dries too fast for me! I am definitely going to have to try it a few more times before I master using this. I like my regular glue, the one that comes with most nailene false nails and don't think I will be switching forever anytime soon. one thing I am going to use it for is when I have 'lifting' of my nails and need to get glue into a tiny crevice between my natural nail and my false nails.

♥ Claires Dream Catcher & Nailene 'Skinny' French tip pen ♥

Claire's Dream Catcher 3 coats & Nailene T.C with Nailene white french Tip Pen

It was really hard for me to get a great photo of the beautiful light green micro-shimmer in this polish. This is a really pretty polish color that came out around New Years (I think). It required 3 coats and the next time I wear it I will definitely layer it over another color.

For this mani, I applied 2 coats of 'Dream Catcher' and 1 coat of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat. I wore this plain for the day, then decided to dress it up with a white french tip pen. I applied the very curved nail stickers to the corner of my nails, and added 2 'coats' of the white french tip pen, on some nails I used 3 'coats' becuase I dropped my camera string onto my still wet nails (Dang!)

When the white was dry, i carefully removed the stickers and applied T.C. over the white area, extending a mm or two past the white tip area and applied T.C. tot he edge of my nails as well & let that dry, when everything is fully dry I applied a coat of T.C. over my entire nail.

- Stuff I used -

@ 3 coats of Claire's 'Dream Catcher' with 1 coat of Nailene T.C.

Apply curved French Tip Guides

@ 2 to 3 swiped of the Nailene 'Skinny' French tip pen in white
Remove Stickers apply T.C. to white tip area & face/edge of nail..... covering the ridge where the white tip meets the nail bed and extending a few mm past the ridge.
