November Favorites

Hey everyone! Technically this post should be called "October Favorites" but I figured since it's already November - what the heck! Anyway, I am going to start a new segment for each month that are my beauty favorites and discuss each item I mention. And of course there will be pictures and links as well.

So for this month I have a nice variety of things to show you. I'll start off with an eyeshadow single that I am seriously loving. Wet N Wild's Color Icon eyeshadow single in Nutty is hands down my most favorite product right now. If you love taupe eyeshadows then you must check it out. This is the best $1.99 I've spent in quite sometime. Nutty is like a gorgeous grey taupe with a shimmer that is so pretty you would swear this eyeshadow was $20. I feel that this eyeshadow would be universally flattering. I have been using it everyday as a color wash and can't get over how gorgeous it is. Get yours on sale for 99 cents on walgreens.com now!

My current favorite shampoo and condition right now is John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette Shine Release Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. I know not all my readers are brunettes - don't worry they have lines for blondes and redheads too! This combo makes my long dark brunette hair super glossy and never weighs it down.



Everyone has their favorite hair brushes and my new favorite just happens to be this Conair Mega Ceramic Large Porcupine Vented Round Brush. It has both boar and nylon bristles and gives me awesome shine, volume and never any tangles. This round brush is perfect for my long straight hair. I got mine at Target for $10.

A product that I have used for a very long time is Burts Bee's Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I feel it very appropriate to mention this product in my November Favorites since the weather is getting cooler and hands will need extra moisture. This product smells yummy (like lemons!) and lasts through hand washes. It's only $6 and is perfect to pack along in your purse for touchups.



Last but definitely not least are my 2 favorite lipsticks. I absolutely love MAC Viva Glam Gaga and cannot get enough of Revlon Super Lustrous Cream Lipstick in Primrose (shown in natural evening light and with flash). I'm pretty sure most of you know my love of pink lipsticks and lipglosses and these 2 are way up there on my list. They are that awesome! Creamy and moisturizing and perfectly pink to the max! Revlon Primrose retails for $7.99 and MAC Viva Glam Gaga for $14.50
