I absolute love LUSH products and recently (back in September for my b-day) my husband and I went to our local LUSH store and I purchased my first massage bar - Strawberry Feels Forever. For those of you not familiar with massage bars they are basically a very rich lotion in solid form - kinda like a bar of soap. You glide them over your skin and they melt on contact with your body heat. They can be used during a massage (hence the name) or just for daily use as a body moisturizer. Strawberry Feels came out of an experiment with adding the Yummy Yummy Yummy fragrance to a massage bar. It smelt so deliciously creamy that the inventors had to have it.

Our fruity Massage Bar is made with crushed strawberries and an infusion of hibiscus flowers. It's scented with a delicious, fruit-sundae-with-cream-on-top aroma. Celebrate the strawberry feels forever.

The plant contains some of the same flavonoids, polyphenols and anthocyanins as red wine. Taken internally these antioxidants have been shown to lower bad cholesterol and blood pressure.

Strawberries contain both malic and citric acids, also known as fruit acids (AHAs). They are very calming on the skin.
How to use
Massage bars serve double-duty as luxurious massage oil or after-shower body moisturizer. Glide the massage bar directly over dry skin; it will melt upon contact. Massage or rub the oils into the skin. As massage bars are made with natural butters and oils, take care to ensure they absorb completely before putting on your best silk pj's. Massage bars melt at body temperature, so be sure to keep yours somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight.
Lush also makes tins to store your massage bars, but unfortunately they do not have one big enough to hold the Strawberry Feels Forever bar. I store mine in a tupperware or a ziplock bag.
This massage bar has the most awesome scent. I apply mine at night and I love that I can still smell it when I wake up in the morning. It goes way beyond strawberry into a creamy vanilla musk that is just indescribable. If you love strawberry scents you will LOVE this product. It is ridiculously moisturizing and you do have to allow time for it to sink into your skin since it is made from rich ingredients like shea butter and cocoa butter.
