♥ Sally Hansen - 'Coral Pink' ♥

 ~ Sally Hansen 'Coral Pink'- 3 coats & 2 coats of NaileneT.C. ~

Here is a drugstore stunner- Sally Hansen 'Coral Pink', I remember picking this up in the store and thinking it was boring until I saw my mom wearing it. I ended up finding it on sale at a pharmacy in my town so I had to grab it. I think that a coat of white polish underneath this would take this to another level, and possibly be able to get some outdoor sunshine pic's.

I did not bother taking any outdoor photos of this polish, as you can see in the Sally Hansen New Lengths Ceramics Skittles HERE, this polish looks absolutely radioactive in the sunshine and with flash.

This is 3 coats with 2 coats of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat. I was a little disappointed about the subtle brush marks, I think if I did a better application I could avoid those. All of my photos are indoors, under fluorescent lighting. How is color of China Glaze 'Shower Together' showing up?

♥ Sally Hansen New Lengths Ceramics Skittles ♥

Another Skittles, These are all polish's that are still available in Canadian stores. I had walked by these sooooo many times and thought they were totally boring. But 'Coral Pink', 'Daiquiri' and 'Diva' were really, really surprising! I found all 5 of these polish at a pharmacy in my town~ they came in a set with a clear nail polish and were on sale ( OF COURSE! ) for $1.99 CAD { Post HERE }

On my THUMB is 2 coats of  'Blackberry' the polish I used for my 'Chainsaw Mani'. This is a beautiful deep red packed with shimmer.

  'Coral Pink'- on my RING nail, is a polish my mom had bought and worn....... I noticed how intense this color was .... WOW -  The indoor fluorescent photos of 'Coral Pink' are more realistic. It really does look plain and boring at the store. Something was throwing my camera off in the outdoor sunshine pic's and I am pretty sure it was the shimmery magenta colors, but just this on it's own also looked so.....off in the Sunshine ~.

IRL the 'Coral Pink' polish it is a cheerful notice-me-color that seemed so un-assuming on the shelf at the store. I am not sure why they chose the name ' Coral Pink', because this is a strait creme with subtle shimmer- coral. There is actually a few of these types of coral/orange Sally Hansen out there they look so demure in the bottle on the racks. I think they might have thrown some fluorescence in there because this one looks weird in the sunshine.....

My MIDDLE finger is Daiquiri - 2 coats, a ridiculous hot pink with lots and lots of shimmer. Beside it on my RING finger, is Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in 'Hot Magenta', these polish's are just 1/16 of a shade off from each other. I think that it was these polish's that were messing with my camera, they are screaming bright!

My RING is Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in 'Hot Magenta', ridiculously bright.

My PINKY nail is Sally Hansen 'Diva' sadly this was 4 coats, but next time I wear this I will be layering it over another polish..... it is a cool medium purple duo-chrome with a subtle light blue flash. I am certain that layering this polish will do it justice. { ...OOPS - I did layer it HERE }

♥ Sally Hansen 'Diva' Mattified & Glittered ♥

~ Sally Hansen 'Diva' - Matte-ified & glittered up ~

2 coats of N.Y.C. 'Skin Tight Denim'
2 coats of L.A.Girl Ridge Filler ( a matte-i-fier )
2 coats of Pure Ice 'Cheatin'

I thought this Sally Hansen 'Diva' polish would be waaaaaay more opaque, I did a little test in the store and thought that it wouldn't be so sheer..... oh well~ it's still pretty! I did a skittles HERE of with this Sally Hansen Polish without the N.Y.C. as a base for layering....This is 2 coats of  N.Y.C. 'Skin Tight Denim', and 2 coats of Sally Hansen 'Diva'.

I matte-i-fied this polish with L.A. Girl Ridge Filler,  then added some Pure Ice 'Cheatin' a gorgeous glitter  -with no guides-  on the diagonally to the corner of my free edge. The glitter is a little lumpy, and I could totally use some T.C. but this mani did not last long..... there were too many bumps and marks and so  I took it off later in the evening and did something else. I would love to have a satin finish polish in this shimmery purple  color.....

Thankfully when I wore this polish there was some sunshine. I love the Pure Ice polish's I picked up in the U.S.A. and try to incorporate them into a mani/pedi whenever I can. ♥

♥ Sally Hansen - 'Diva' - layered ♥

~Sally Hansen 'Diva' 3 coats & 2 coats of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat~

I picked up this pretty purple polish a few months ago, along with a slew of other discounted Sally Hansen New Lengths Ceramics at a pharmacy in my town. These polish's were sold in a cute little package with a Sally Hansen 'Clear' nail polish. I grabbed a few doubles and because I thought they were all pretty colors, I went back to buy the rest of them = and they were all gone! All that was left were a frosty white....and a sheer peach color. Bummer! I tried this in the store and I thought that it would be opaque - NO!!!! = its really sheer but it is a very pretty color, and for $1.00 CAD I am sooooooo not complaining.

These Sally Hansen polish's are still available in Canadian stores, they are approx $3.50 ish at most stores, this collection has some pretty surprising polish's, they look really plain and boring on the shelf but some of this are showstoppers! I have jazzed this up this mani in another post HERE, and will likely layer this polish in the future with N.Y.C. Skin Tight Denim....... or another deep rich polish.

♥ EMO Skittles ♥

~ Indoors Fluorescent Lighting ~

I have had this in my 'to post' file for a while ~ here is an 'EMO' skittles I did just for fun. I have seen a few people haul maybelline at D.T. in the states but have not seen these 2 ~ City Slick & Industrial Grey swatched... I did a Mani with 'City Slick' in summertime HERE, and have used 'Industrial Grey' for my T.O.T.D. I picked up the Street Wear polish in 'Gun Metal Chrome' at a thrift store as well as the 'Industrial Grey'. All my skittles are 2 coats, except my THUMB ~ Billie 'Black Glitter' which was 3. All my nails have 2 coats of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat.

♥ T.O.T.W. - Maybelline 'Industrial Grey' with Nailene Nail Stickers ♥

~ Maybelline 'Industrial Gray' & Nailene Nail Stickers

I Loooooooooove these metal looking stickers..... they look like little drops of whatever the T-1000 was made out of. They held up very well when I used them in my 'Marrianna's Trench' T.O.T.W. a few weeks ago. I did not use a top coat over them, and they stayed on for 4 days with minimal wear and tare.... but I will use a top coat over these because they are sooooo pretty.

All my photos are indoors on location at "Deez-Nailz" photo studio 2.   I didn't have to add so many photos but I just love these stickers. I also really like this Maybelline 'Industrial Grey' ~ it is a dark graphite with shimmer.... it's an 'Antique' polish that I found at thrift store in my town. I love these rich metallic shimmery grays, but I think I overdid wearing them, because I hardly use these types of colors for Mani's or Pedi's anymore.

I was a little worried about the layers of this older polish, so I did not press these nail stickers into my nails, I usually wait a few hours before I adorn my Pedi's or Mani's with anything. I am wearing Nailene False Toe Nails in these photos.
