While my husband and I were in Chicago, we went to the LUSH store inside the Water Tower Place Macy's on Michigan Ave. I was absolutely loving it! It was my first time to go to an actual LUSH store and I couldn't have been more impressed. The customer service was outstanding and I really enjoyed the product demonstrations - on me =) I ended up purchasing a nice sized bar of the Honey I Washed The Kids soap, a Honey Bee Bath Bomb and Honey Trap Lip Balm. Okay so you guessed it - I love honey body products! And not just products with honey in them - actual honey scented items! And LUSH has a nice variety of honey products.
I'm really enjoying this soap. I cut my bar into 3 smaller bars and put them into shower soap containers so that my soap will not melt down too fast. I love the layer of beeswax on the top of this soap. It makes it quite unique and it kind of works as an exfoliator too. This soap makes me super soft and I love the intoxicating smell. If you love honey bath and body products as much as me then you will love this soap. Both my bathroom and myself smell awesome!
As for the bath bomb, it was just okay. It made my bath smell good, but other than making the water bright yellow I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I'm kinda wishing I would have bought the Butterball Bath Bomb instead - next time! I really love the Honey Trap Lip Balm though. It is super moisturizing and smells awesome. The soap is the real winner out of the 3. I'm looking forward to trying more soaps from LUSH.
