Disney Princess Series - Cinderella

Everyone orders Cinderella around: her cruel stepmother, her awful stepsisters -- even the big clock in the church tower tells her when to start another day of drudgery. But no matter how her family abuses and humiliates her, they can't stop her from dreaming. For dreams are the wishes of Cinderella's heart, and, despite her sadness and hardships, she has faith that someday her wishes of happiness will come true. When the invitation to the royal ball arrives, Cinderella is sure her time has come -- until the evil sisters, with the sly encouragement of Lady Tremaine, tear not only her gown to shreds, but her hopes and dreams as well. "There's nothing left to believe in," she cries, heartbroken and alone. However, though her own words are forgotten for the moment, they still hold the magic that will fulfill her hopes. "No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true ..."

Cinderella is by no means a weak-willed character content to let events flow around her. On the contrary, when the invitation to the royal ball arrives, she uses everything short of physical force to persuade her stepmother that she has every right to attend. This makes her one of the more memorable Disney heroines.

Actress Helene Stanley performed the live-action reference not only for Cinderella, but also for Princess Aurora in "Sleeping Beauty" and Anita Radcliff in "101 Dalmatians." "Cinderella" was based on the French version of the tale as recounted by Charles Perrault in "Histoires ou Contes du Temps Passé," and was chosen for production based on its resemblance to the "Snow White" story.

Another care package from my Ma!

So just the other day I came down with a cold. Boy do I hate getting sick. I'm sure other people hate it too. Well, my Ma called and she said I sounded awful and that she was going to surprise me with something. She came over last night with 600 full cover nails all in different shapes and sizes! She also got me some orange sticks as well! I was really surprised! When the fog and cloudiness goes away I'll be sure to take some pictures of my care package.

Ocean Flower Nail {Pic Heavy}

So I recently got a gift card for Christmas from my parents and I went and spent it on clothes, makeup and nail polish! With my new polish, I decided to do a cute pretty nail design. I had no idea what it was going to be until I started doing it. I figured I would call it Ocean Flower, since it has blues and glitter. So I hope you guys love this design!

I used the flat chunky glitters from Starry Silver Glitter for the centers of the flowers.

Christmas Present Nails!

So, due to my computer being down and all my files for Holiday nail tutorials are on that computer, I had to result to taking pictures and just displaying the actual nail design and the products used. I hope you girls like this nail design and keep your fingers crossed that my computer can get fixed before Christmas is over so I can at least post the videos on how to make this design. Also, it would be really nice if you could pass this design onto your friends here on blogger or on youtube! Let all your friends now once I get my computer fixed, I will have tutorials up soon!

Paint your nails a solid red. Add horizontal and vertical lines onto your nails. In the middle, paint a heart shape and extend the bottom to create the long ribbon. Add some silver lines next to the white lines and add a rhinestone in the middle.

Viola! Instant present nails!

Silver and Gold Mani

So with one of my birthday presents I got some stencils with my stripers. I figured I would give it a shot and try them out to see how they worked. They worked just fine for me, except I gotta work on how to remove them better so the design comes out nicer. But other than that, I think the design came out pretty uniform on my nails! I used This is it from Sinful Colors and a silver glitter striper along the smile line of the mani. I didn't want the design to be over bearing so I did them on just my thumb and ring finger. I like it, I just gotta work on an easier way to remove it without messing the polish up.
