WEEKEND SPECIAL: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear!

These here are the polishes I received in a swap with one of my best friends. There is a story behind this too. I will try to make this quick, because I tend to ramble on. A few months ago I saw swatches for these and fell in love with the colors. I went on the hunt for them but never found them! I tried every single store I could think of! It was either one of two things,

A) They didn't carry Sally Hansen

B) They were sold out of the colors I was looking for

So about a couple weeks ago, I was on the phone talking to my friend and telling her about my hunt. She asked me what colors I was looking for and that she would look for them where she lives! What a sweetie! I told her the names and she told me her local Ulta has a TON of these polishes in stock! I got an email from her one day saying she bought them for me and she was sending them to me! So what I did was give her some polishes I have that she would be interested in! I also threw in some extra goodies for her too! I did get some other goodies as well, which I'm loving by the way. So enough with my rambling and on with the swatches!!!

The Nail Goddess Goes Purple!

I figured I would swatch some of my dark purples for you guys to see. I have more purples, but most are light to medium purples. I figured I would show you the dark ones first.

From Left to Right: Eggplant Frost, Plaza Plumberry, Valerie, Cut The Cake

Eggplant Frost: Red based purple with a BLUE flash/duo-chrome to it. It balances out the red based purple and gives it an amazing neutral quality. (e.g. it's neither warm nor cool colored)

Plaza Plumberry: Very standard vamp creme; it's a dark, dark plum, almost black.

Valerie: Royal purple, dark violet, red, deep pink and gold iridescence amplified by a glittering sparkle finish.  Dark and complex but still warm and inviting

Cut The Cake: Golden plum color with golden shimmer.

Ocean Flower Nail {Pic Heavy}

So I recently got a gift card for Christmas from my parents and I went and spent it on clothes, makeup and nail polish! With my new polish, I decided to do a cute pretty nail design. I had no idea what it was going to be until I started doing it. I figured I would call it Ocean Flower, since it has blues and glitter. So I hope you guys love this design!

I used the flat chunky glitters from Starry Silver Glitter for the centers of the flowers.

Care Package From Ma

So I was looking at some blogs when I hear a loud bang at my door that nearly scared me off my chair. I look to see who it is and it's my Ma and Dad! Ma recently went to her local Discount Store and noticed a bin full of Sally Hansen products! She picked a few up and noticed that each product was .50 each!! What a steal! She came over with a few things for me. I was so excited when I received them! She knows I have a HUGE nail polish addiction. She helped me feed it. LOL!
