Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner

Before I start with my review I wanted to mention that today marks my 100th post on Tropical Mind! Thank you to all my followers on here and on Twitter and to everyone who stops by to read who are not followers. Thank you for reading Tropical Mind! Okay onto todays review!

I never thought I would turn to Suave for shampoo and conditioner that is moisturizing. Sure their regular shampoos are great for those who need to deeply cleanse their scalps to remove product buildup. Sure their shampoos usually smell really good. But moisturizing? Just wait!

So I had been hearing really good thing about the new line Suave has out that is supposedly exactly like Aveda shampoos and conditioners. I love Aveda products so I really was curious. After reviewing the different products that came out with this line I chose the Almond and Shea Butter kind because I wanted a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. This kind is being compared by Suave to Aveda's Dry Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. I unfortunately can't make a comparison for you as I have not tried the Aveda.

But I will say this much. Suave has made me a believer again. Here's what I love about this shampoo and conditioner:

1. They both smell awesome, but not overpowering
2. The shampoo has a nice lather to it and rinses clean
3. The conditioner felt just as amazing in the shower as it did out of it.
4. My hair is amazingly soft and moisturized without being weighed down/greasy.

So far my hair is really loving both products. I've been rotating the Suave with my Aveeno Nourish and Moisturize shampoo and conditioner and getting great results. My hair is super shiny and very manageable. I haven't noticed any buildup either. It's just such a great product and so inexpensive that I had to tell y'all about it. For under $6 you can get a huge bottle of both the shampoo and conditioner. We are talking a whopping 32 oz in each bottle! They do make a 14.5 oz size as well if you need something more portable.

The other products in this line include: Rosemary Mint Invigorating Clean Shampoo and
Aloe & Ginseng Volumizing Shampoo.

Suave products can be purchased at mass retailers and drugstores or visit Suave.com for more info.
