Review - Femme Couture Cake Eyeliner - Black Brown
I'm a big fan of Sally Beauty Supply and on a recent trip there I caught myself checking out a display of cosmetics by Femme Couture. This brand is completely new to me and I really loved a lot of the products I saw on the rack.
I picked up the Femme Couture Cake Eyeliner in Black Brown which is pictured above. Normally eyeliner wise I am a MAC and Urban Decay user. I don't typically stray since these brands work so well for me and don't budge all day. I do love using eyeshadow as eyeliner so I was really attracted to the Femme Couture Cake Eyeliner for this reason. I use an angled liner brush to apply this eyeliner.
This product has definitely impressed me. It stays on just as well as my MAC and Urban Decay products and is a fraction of the price at $7.99 for the duo. It applied quite smooth and is seriously pigmented. I love that it can be used wet or dry. You would think it was a seriously expensive cake eyeliner if you didn't know. I also should add that this eyeliner didn't bother my eyes at all so I think it's safe to say it would be a good choice for those with sensitive/allergy eyes.
I figured this would be a really nice duo to take with me on my upcoming beach trip. It's versatile and perfectly compact. This product is also available in Navy/Cobalt and Black/Charcoal. I love it so much I may get the Navy duo sometime!
Next time you are at Sally Beauty definitely give the Femme Couture display a visit. I am looking forward to trying more from this brand.
