Tinted Lip Balms
Today I wanted to share with you some tinted lip balms that I love. I'm a big fan of layering lipstick with lipgloss and this is where tinted lip balm comes in real handy. Not only is it moisturizing, but it lasts a long time too and you can still add a little gloss on top if needed. Tinted lip balm is also perfect for people who don't like lipstick, but want a little color on their lips. It feels just like wearing a chapstick like product and isn't as intense as full on lipstick.
From left to right in my photo above:
1. Lipsmackers Dr. Pepper Lip Balm. Okay so technically it's not in the tinted lip balm catagory, but it definitely gives some color to your lips. And not to mention it smells like Dr. Pepper! What's not to like here? =) This is definitely going to be the most sheer out of the 3 in the picture above.
2. Jane Be Pure Mineral Lip Balm. I love these! They kind of have a very faint vanilla thing going on scent wise. I own 3 of these and they are all fantastic. The picture below shows the following swatches from left to right: Dr. Pepper Lipsmacker, Jane Be Pure Mineral Lip Balm in Rose Quartz, Pink Quartz and White Pearl. These have great staying power too!
3. Palladio Herbal Tinted Lip Balm. These are absolutely awesome and are my most recent love. Very moisturizing and creamy and the color selection is nice. They definitely give you sheer long lasting color as promised. The Palladio brand can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply and Ulta. This lip balm is available in 8 shades. The 2 I own are pictured below. Golden Pink is on the top and Bronzy Pink is on the bottom. These are definitely the most pigmented tinted lip balms out of all the ones I have mentioned in this post.
If you are looking for a new lip product then I highly recommend any of these. Moisture and color in one product - the best of both worlds!
