black w/ holo glitters

I started with a black matte base, I sponged on a silver, added the Claire's Hollywood multi-sized holographic glitter and then added a few larger hexagon holographic glitter pieces. I took these photos before a final coat of top coat, and I definitely needed 2 coats of TC.

I am still into the matte black look... I have 2 more black matte manis in mind for the rest of the week. I like the shape of the glitter area, it's like a swoop starting at the far right of my cuticles then all along my cuticles to the tip pf my nails. This was very easy to do on my non-dominant hand which was a plus today as I was in a rush.

also; Google blogger must be updating or something.... I tried to up-date my blog roll and do a bunch of other bloggy things and nothing was working. I quit for today - but hopefully everything will be back to normal. I love you Google blog-spot - get well soon ♥

then added just 1 coat of Claire's Hollywood, and quickly set a few holographic hexagon glitters randomly on my nails.

Plug Yourself Sunday & more black matte looks

I started with a black matte base, and used a black striping polish to make the shiny zebra stripes. These are much better then my first and second attempt at zebra stripes. Even though I have seen hundreds or gorgeous photos of the matte look in a plethora of colours, I still think that a dark vampy or black matte polish is #1.

This was a black matte base, then I added the top coat to the tips..... I wanted to try without the french tip guides, I thought that a ridge from the tip guide would look funny.....

♥ Billie - 'Electric Yellow' ♥

I did a quickie skittles with a few other polish's because I really wanted to see how this would look on the nail... But my camera battery quit on me before I could get the great photos of this yellow polish. WOW- this is friggen bright.  I think even I would feel weird walking around in public wearing a polish this bight! As you can see from the photo above, it took alot of coats to get to this finish  (middle Finger). I did not add a quick dry top coat so I could actually get a picture of a color this bright. And so I got a few dings & dents before I could finish getting all my photos.
