I swatched these two because they looked similar in their bottles, but when swatched, you can tell they are completely different. Both are in the Gold family, which is a neutral color, but one has more of a light tan base while the other has a medium brown base. Both colors are super pretty but are not the same color. So I figure I would just swatch the two together and show you girls the prettiness of the two together! Be sure to venture on over to NYC's Facebook page as well as Dr.s Remedy!

Dr.'s Remedy - Desire Dark Brown

Desire Dark Brown is a gorgeous dark chocolate brown. It is a rich color that is perfect for wear all year round. This went on in 1 glorious coat. As I stated before, it will take some time to get used to the shape of the bottle, but with patience, you will have more of a steady hand when handling this line of polish.

Dr.'s Remedy - Revive Ruby Red

Revive Ruby Red is a deep rich ruby red. This color reminds me of the ruby slippers in Wizard of Oz. This shade of red is certainly trendy enough to be worn all year round. But also a great color to be worn around Christmas time. This polish went on in 2 coats, which is normal. If you look closely you will notice a small amount of sparkle/reflects in this polish.

Dr.'s Remedy - Healing Heather Grey

So a while back, I did a review on the Winter collection from Dr.'s Remedy. I said I was going to have some swatches posted, but did not realize it was going to take me this long to get them up. Healing Heather Grey is a gorgeous grey that is perfect for the cold season. I could certainly see this shade of polish being trendy, especially up north where all that snow is. It takes some getting used to with the shape of the bottle. But the feel of the cap makes up for it.This polish went on in 2 coats, which is pretty much normal for polish.

Disney Princess Series - Belle

Belle
Far-off places, daring sword fights ... a prince in disguise ... Belle longs for so much more than a "normal life" in this small, provincial town -- a town where girls don't aspire to more than being the wife of a handsome lunk like Gaston. Still, adventure is the last thing on her mind when she rides her horse, Philippe, into the forest to find her beloved father, who is missing. Thinking only of her father, she makes a terrible bargain with a pitiless monster, a beast who holds her father captive. "Take me instead ..." Though the Beast now holds the key to Belle's prison, he doesn't have the key to her heart, and her yearning spirit won't be kept prisoner. But after he risks his own life to save hers, she begins to see past his hideous appearance. She realizes that, deep inside him, there might be something more than she -- or he -- has ever dreamed.

With "The Little Mermaid," Disney had returned to the old custom of using live-action reference footage, a practice they continued for "Beauty." Actress Sherri Stoner portrayed the role of Belle on film and her live-action performance was used as inspiration for the character's animated performance. Beast's key animator, Glen Keane, and one of Belle's animators, Mark Henn, were drawing their respective characters (in the same scene) across the country from each other -- Henn at the Disney-MGM Studio in Florida, and Keane at the animation studio in Glendale, California. In order to coordinate their work, the animators had to exchange drawings daily by courier.

The next Disney Princess nail design is going to be Princess Aurora! Be prepare to see lots of pink and a little bit of a Spring/Nature theme to the nail design! Watch the video below for more details!
