Mending A Broken Nail

Have you ever had a nail rip or tear down near or past your cuticle? I think we probably all have. And it really sucks. I used to just rip it off or trim it down. But sometimes that can be really painful. But there is an alternative. Instead of taking it off, you can actually repair it. I had heard about using tea bags to repair such nail problems for years, but I had never tried it until this past week.

Here's what you need:

A teabag (cut it to empty the tea out)
Nail Glue - preferably the brush on kind instead of the dropper bottle type

Watch this video to see how to do it!

This is so easy to do and it works perfectly. It's supposed to last through 4-5 manicures as long as you don't use acetone to remove your polish. Mine is holding up great and I have had it on for about a week.

Next time you have a split or broken nail you should really try this! It saved my poor broken thumb nail and it looks brand new again.
