This morning my husband took our very old car through emissions and was going to get new tags and the car failed. By very old I mean 14 years old to be exact. My parents bought me a brand new Toyota Corolla in 1996 when I was a junior in high school. I still owned that car until today. It has been a fantastic car, but at 154,000 miles, it has started to give us trouble and the $ that would have to be put into fixing it would far outweigh its worth. So today was the day and we finally traded it in and got a Chevy Cobalt. We got a HUGE deal on it since it is an 09 model and we were extremely excited. We try to be as frugal with our money as possible and today it really paid off. The Cobalt is fully loaded (minus the sunroof) and has lots of nice features including Onstar, XM radio and nice rims. We are so excited about our new car and it's good timing too since we will be leaving for the beach soon and it will be nice to take on the road. This car was exactly what we were wanting from the interior and exterior colors down to the price. We feel very fortunate and today has been a good day!
