Spring 2011 Trend: 70s Style Jeans

Ah denim. Everyone’s friend. We like to dress them up with a sparkly top and heels for a night out, slob around the house in our most comfortable pair or simply slip them on to pop to the shops with a t-shirt and some trainers. We do love our jeans.

Like most women, once we find a style we like (currently jeggings and skinnies) we stick to it! But in the spirit of Spring, we’re going to try something else as we’re rather fond of 70’s style jeans. We aren’t ones to jump on every trend bandwagon but we think this style of jean is good as they’ll flatter most shapes and can be worn in a variety of ways. You can go for a full on flare or tone it down with a wide-leg style.

If you’re lucky enough to be able to wear denim in the office (if not there’s always dress down Friday) we love how Derek Lam showed flared denim. Just copy the entire look!
