I named this 'Beat for now - it's one of the " No Names" 5 packs of Polish's from Icing. I always hoped one of the ladies from The Edge of Sanity would name this 5 polish's in this set......Anyhoo- I am slowly working my way through the Icing 5 pack I bought, like 1.5 month ago. They totally surprised me and have changed my opinion of the Claire's and Icing brands of polish.
This was 2 coats of the Icing 'Beat' and after doing some crafty things I totally trashed it, I melted the tips of my nail on a frying pan ( don't ask ) and have alot of surface scratches (working with plant's). So instead of just adding another layer of T.C. I wanted to add a little something with it. I applied straight Nailene French Tip Nail Guides on the diagonal, then swiped on 1 coat of China Glaze 'Spontaneous' waited for it to dry and then peeled off the tip guides and added a coat of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat. Viola!
I think these two colors play off nice with each other and am glad I chose this color combo - I was going to use China Glaze 'Shower together' - but I am happy I stuck with something a little more subtle.
I have a tonne of fun crafty things lined up for this afternoon, and am certain I will trash this mani too- It's time for a change of nail anyhow and am planning on some really cool nail art tonite as well. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
As you can see - I did alot of damage to my polish by melting it on a frying pan..... along with some surface scratches via a paper mache project I am working on.
.... Another shot in the sun. This polish looks alot different in different lighting
I applied straight Nailene Nail Tip Guides across my nails....
Applied 1 coat of China Glaze ' Spontaneous' = = = I am impressed I knocked this out in 1 coat. When it was dry, I removed the nail tip guides and applied 1 coat of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat.... Viola!!!
Wow - all the crafty things I am doing have taken a toll on my skin - But I am happy to announce I have not burned myself with the glue gun yet♥
