Kleancolor Crack Nail Polish - Black Crackle

For some reason I never got around to purchasing OPI's Black Shatter. I will however be purchasing OPI's Silver Shatter. This week when I was at my favorite beauty supply store (Golden Beauty Supply on Germantown Pkwy near Dexter - for all my Memphis peeps) I saw this display of Kleancolor Crack polishes and it really caught my eye. First of all they had 7 shades and second they were only $1.99. Now that makes me quite happy!

So I decided to be boring and go for the black shade. They did have all of the following shades in the pic below:

I decided that I wanted to use my new Black Crackle polish over hot pink. So that pink would be OPI Shorts Story. I used a base coat, one coat of OPI Shorts Story, a thick layer of Kleancolor Black Crackle, topped off with a nice layer of Seche Vite.

More pics for a better view:

Depending on how thick or thin you apply Black Crackle, you will get different crackle patterns. I used a thick layer.
