February Favorites
It's that time again! Time for my February Favorites! I've got some great products to show you this month.
Here we go!
I was so excited for this collection to come out as many of you know. I mentioned it here and that I had a coupon. I will admit that I was really bummed because I'm a big fan of Bath and Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream (the ones that come in the tubes) since I love them way better than the regular lotions. Long story short, Bath and Body Works didn't make Triple Moisture Body Lotions for the Island Escape collection. I did however get the Hawaii Coconut Body Mist and I love it. It is the perfect mix of clean scent mixed with a hint of coconut. It's awesome and so fresh smelling and I think you will love it. Even if you don't love the scent of coconut, I feel like it would still be a nice scent for you. And I do love how the bottle looks sitting on my sink. It's so tropical and reminds me of the beach =)
Next up is Essie Nail Polish. I've been a longtime fan of this company as their polish applies so smooth and wears like iron. I was excited when I recently spotted a huge display at Walmart of Essie polishes. They are 25 cents less at Walmart ($7.75) than Ulta, but I can use my Ulta coupons when I am at Ulta which is nice because both stores carry totally different shades. I am LOVING Essie's Topless and Barefoot which is from the Spring 2011 French Affair Collection. I picked it up at Ulta the other day and I think it is the perfect nude polish. I am also loving Haute As Hello which is a gorgeous coral shade and Turquoise and Caicos which is a gorgeous bright turquoise. If you have never used Essie polishes and are looking for some perfect nail polish then I highly recommend Essie.
Y'all know that I love the try out new mascaras and I have another one this month to share with you. I'm a hardcore fan of Cover Girl Lash Blast, but I do stray from time to time especially if a new mascara comes out and I really wanna check it out. My newest favorite mascara is Maybelline Volum Express One By One Mascara. This stuff is so awesome that I cannot even begin to tell you. I haven't been this excited about a new mascara since Lash Blast. I have tried some good ones since then, but this one really wows me. One By One really does the job and gets every single lash and it lengthens and gives volume. Very easy to apply and the wand is not awkward or difficult to get used to. If you are in the market for a new mascara then check this one out. It is long lasting and I get no raccoon eyes either. Love it!
I'm still really loving my John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Release Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. I had to mention it again since I love it that much. Don't worry if you are not a brunette like me. It's available for blondes and redheads too! This shampoo is salon worthy it is that good. I get no buildup and with longterm use I haven't had a single problem with it drying out my hair. I find that even in my daily shampoo rotation that I reach for this and pretty much wanna use it everyday. Check this one out and you will not be sorry!
Now I have not tried this last item I am about to mention, but I am SO excited about it that I wanted to mention it. I have really been wanting to get my hands on OPI's Black Shatter from the Katy Perry Collection, but it is sold out everywhere where I live. I know I can order it online, but I don't tend to do that with nail polish. Anyway, I read about China Glaze's Crackle Glaze the other day and I think I'm glad now that I don't already have Black Shatter because this looks way more awesome in my opinion. I will let the pictures to the talking - esp. since I have not tried this yet.
I hope everyone has a fantastic February and here's to March (and Daylight Savings Time) and flip flop weather!!!
