Suit - The Mainstay of a Man's Wardrobe

The suit is a staple of every man's formal wardrobe. If your lifestyle requires you to wear suits, then you should choose between black, navy and grey as they are timeless and classic. It can be paired easily with various shirts and pants. You can perhaps start with a classic navy suit and then move to colors like grey and brown.

Jackets come as single and double breasted ones. Nonetheless, single breasted ones are the most preferred. They come as two and three button styles. However, the two-button single breasted jacket is the most common type.

While buying a suit look for the right fabric, color and style that flatters your figure. Fabrics like cotton and linen are the most popular ones. Choose styles with a perfect fit. Do not opt for heavy shoulder pads. Make sure that they are lightly padded and look appealing.

Pants with pleats though comfortable are a passé. Opt for ones that have a flat front as they are here to stay. They make one appear slimmer and taller. Get it hemmed if the pants are long. The pants must sit at the waist and end at the top of your shoes. Ensure that your socks is not visible when you walk. Cuffed trousers provide a formal look and avoid ones that are too tight or too baggy.

Tuxedo is been catching up over the past few years. A tuxedo is a suit that comprises of a jacket, waistcoat, pants and bow tie. It is the most striking and timeless version of men's style. As compared to jackets and blazers, it can make one look classic, elegant and stylish. A tuxedo typically forms the men's wedding attire as well. A black or a navy tuxedo can be mixed and matched and worn for several formal occasions. Charcoal color pants can be teamed with a matching waist coat, a white shirt and a black jacket. The choice is just endless .
