The color teal, is essentially a mixture of Blue, Yellow with some white & black thrown in. I didn't really have a plan when I made these... I just had a hankering to do some frankening. The middle bottle above, Is a mixture of Billie 'Electric Yellow' and Billie 'Blue'. On the right, is Billie Electric Yellow, Blue, and some black and white to create a darker color. On the right, I just added white to the Electric Yellow and Blue mix. I'm not totally satisfied with the middle franken, I would like it to be a tad more opaque.... so I may mess around with it a little more.
Most surprising to me is that I actually like this purple/pink shimmer that is showing up. When I have made frankens with this Billie 'French White' polish before, it totally swallowed up any shimmer in the polish I mixed it with. It is very evident on my Middle nail and my Index nail. My PINKY nail in the photo below, is 2 coats of the darker franken with 2 coats of the middle franken over top.
I would love to see someone from the USA whip up some frankens using NYC 'Taxi Yellow Creme' and 'Skin Tight Denim Creme' with some white & clear polish... DANG IT!!!! I regret not buying NYC 'Taxi Yellow Creme' when I saw it because I cannot find a richly pigmented yellow creme that is cheap right now.
Anyhoo - here is a million photos. All indoors under various florescent lighting. These Billie neon & florescent polish I have used dried to a satin finish. So unless otherwise notes, I have used 2 coats of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat.
I am in love with all three of these frankens and will be redoing my nails nightly for full mani's. Hopefully with some nail art♥
- Above & Below -
My middle finger has no T.C. and this was 4 coats. Because this polish on my middle finger is only Billie 'Blue' and Billie 'Electric Yellow' mixed together it is very sheer. I mixed the other two frankens with white (RING finger) and White & Black (INDEX finger)
Oops! These are in the opposite order that they appear on my nails!
L to R - Billie 'Blue', 'Electric Yellow', 'French White' & 'Black'
♥
