Lanvin for H&M
Last night in New York, Lanvin and H&M presented a haute couture runway show with famous guests including Sofia Coppola, Andie MacDowell, Anna Sui, Tory Burch and Alexander Wang. They enjoyed show stopping designs by famed Lanvin artistic director Alber Elbaz modelled by Asia Chow, Dree Hemingway, Olga and Anna Dello Russo.
While the majority of us can’t afford a Lanvin original (their beautiful dresses sell for over £1000 on net-a-porter), the collection for H&M will feature mens and womenswear with prices ranging from £24.99 for a t-shirt and up to £199.99 for the most expensive dress. They are sure to sell out quick (and be on e-bay the next day for double the price) so you’d better get in there quick!
Some of the key looks below.
A Mongolian goat fur jacket from Lanvin's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection costs approx. £8000. The Lanvin for H&M faux fur jacket costs £79.99. You see where I’m going with this.
Lanvin for H&M will be available to buy online and in store on November 23 2010.
